If you're new to the United Methodist Church and are interested in becoming a member of Elizabeth UMC, we invite you to participate in our "United Methodist Classes 101." Upon completion of these classes, you will have the opportunity to officially join our church community through a New Members Ceremony. What Can I Expect

Welcome to Elizabeth! If you're joining us for the first time, here’s a quick guide to what you can expect during our Sunday worship service, which typically lasts about one hour.

Beginning the Service

Our service begins with the "Chiming of the Hour," a ringing of a bell that serves as a distinct call to worship, inviting us to transition from the ordinary to the sacred.

Music and Singing

Our Music Director leads the congregation in uplifting music and hymns. We primarily use songs from "The Faith We Sing," a cherished hymnal in the United Methodist tradition.
